What does the impact label mean?
Impact label:
The impact label shows what an accommodation is doing to have a positive impact on the environment and biodiversity.
The implementation of the impact label is derived from our core values cross pollinate, foster & flourish, down to earth and early birds. We want to inspire people to make an impact. Within our community, we can reach both our private landlords and our nature-loving guests. The questions to be answered to receive the impact label serve as inspiration and guidelines to increase the impact of a nature cottage. The label itself is a reward for the personal efforts of landlords who actively take action to create positive impact. In return, guests have the chance to easily find impactful nature cottages and decide to support them through bookings. In addition, we want to inspire guests to make conscious accommodation choices
Our mission:
We believe that when people spend more time in nature, they automatically take better care of it. That is why we have made it our mission to protect local biodiversity. We do this by letting you, and many other nature lovers, enjoy nature. In this way, we want to inspire people to holiday in a more environmentally friendly and responsible way. Together, we restore the balance between people and nature.
Levels:
The impact label consists of three levels, three being the best. Not everyone has an impact label. This could be because the landlord did not fill in all the data or did not score sufficiently within the data.
Below you can see what the three different levels look like:
Level 1:
Level 2:
Level 3:
Transparency:
Transparency is part of our down-to-earth core value. We have nothing to hide and want to make all information transparent to be truly authentic. In the link below, you will find a detailed overview of all the questions behind the impact label and the scoring system behind the 3 levels.
