How do I fill in the required tax information as a private landlord?

Nature.house is required under DAC7 to report data to the Tax Office annually and we need a number of details to do this. More information about DAC7 and which data are reported can be found here.

If you are not registered with the Chamber of Commerce as a company, you rent as a private person. If you are registered with the Chamber of Commerce, you are renting out as a business. This requires a bit more data, more explanations can be found here.

Private landlords:

At the top, click on 'More' and then 'Taxes'.

First, indicate whether you are providing tax information for one person or company, or whether you are providing tax information for multiple people who are paid for renting.

If you want to fill in tax information for one person, you need to indicate in the next step whether you rent as an individual or a company.

The next step is to add your address information. The address needs to be your main address (in case of private rentals). Once you have done this, click on 'next'.

If you report your declaration from a country other than your primary residence address, it is important to indicate this. To do so, tick the box 'I report my taxes in another country' and fill in the country in which you report your declaration under 'Country of issuance'. If this does not apply to you, do not tick the box.

When you have done this, click on 'next'. This will take you to the page to enter personal data.

Make sure you check that you have entered all the details correctly. After saving your details, it is no longer possible to change them. When you have entered your details correctly and checked the box next to 'I confirm I've correctly filled in all detaills.', click on Complete. Your details are then saved.
