Information about service fees for guests

We are busy improving our platform every day, both for guests and hosts. This includes changes. We will start using a service fee for bookings. 

You as a landlord need to agree to the terms and conditions again, this can be done through the pop-up you get when you log into your landlord account. 

Approving or rejecting a booking is not possible until you have agreed to the terms and conditions. If you have enabled automatic approval of bookings, this is temporarily deactivated until the terms and conditions are accepted. 

If you do not agree with the terms and conditions we will unfortunately be forced to end the collaboration.

What are service fees?

The service fee is a small charge, with a maximum of €9.95 per booking, designed to support the continuous improvement of our platform and services. It helps us maintain high standards, ensuring a pleasant booking experience for guests.

Why are there service fees?

At Nature house, we want to help to improve guests' holiday experience. The service fee supports ongoing improvements to our services and platform, so that a guest has an even better stay and an pleasant booking experience. Moreover, this allows us to contribute more to our core mission of restoring the balance between people and nature, ensuring a sustainable future for future generations.

What will change for me? 

Nothing will change for you as a landlord. We charge the guest € 9,95 service fee per booking. The guest pays this service fee to us at the time of booking. Of course, you as a landlord do not pay any commission on this. 

Example:

A guest books your nature house for the period from 2 - 5 May 2024 for a rent of € 350,00, final cleaning costs of € 50,00 and tourist tax € 8,50. The commission (assuming 12% including VAT) is € 48,00. You will receive a total of € 360,50 (rental + extra costs minus commission) for this booking. The guest pays a total of € 418,45 (including service fee).
