Why can I no longer reply to a booking request?

Nature House is required under DAC7 to report data to the Tax Office annually and we need a number of details to do this. You can find more information about DAC7 and what data is reported here.

Open booking requests

Landlords who have registered with Nature House in 2023 and have not yet entered this data will not be able to respond to new booking requests from 01-12-2023 until all required data has been entered. For landlords who joined Nature House before 2023, this will apply from 01-01-2024.

Guests can still place a booking via the advertisement, these booking requests will arrive in the landlord overview. However, these requests cannot be answered until the tax details are correctly filled in.

The link 'Add tax information' will take you directly to the right page to fill in these details. More information on the data to be entered can be found here for private owners and here for business owners.

Booking requests can be viewed under the heading 'Bookings', but it is not possible to respond to the request there either.

Automatic approval

For landlords who have bookings automatically approved, this will be temporarily disabled. Bookings will no longer be automatically approved until the tax details are filled in. As soon as everything has been filled in correctly, this option will be switched on again automatically, so landlords do not have to switch it on again after the data have been filled in.

Unanswered booking requests

If several new bookings are automatically rejected because they cannot be responded to due to missing tax information, the nature house will still be placed offline.
